New Year Weather Warnings.

Following the wet and very windy conditions experienced in the North and Scotland over the past 24 hours, another spell of wet and windy weather is expected to affect the UK during Wednesday. Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds may lead to localised flooding in Western areas.

In response to the adverse weather experienced to date and the forecast for the week, we can advise as follows:

Davies Loss Adjusting / Davies Inspector Team

An increase in claim volumes has been experienced in the North, Scotland & South Coast and additional resources are in place to assist as and where required. All visits are being arranged within SLA’s and all efforts concentrated on effective and timely mitigation activity.

Davies Managed Systems & BVU (Buildings Validation Unit)

Similar to that of our Adjusting/Inspector teams, an increase in claim volumes has been experienced and our surge response plan sits in readiness to provide the necessary resource to support any additional workload driven by the weather and to ensure compliance with all agreed service levels.

Eastwell (Contractor Management) & Davies Response (Disaster Restoration)

Have in place the necessary resources to respond immediately to all affected areas and stand in readiness to assist with emergency roof / mitigation repairs.

In addition, our Out of Hours are aware of the potential increase in OOH calls over the next 24 hours and have resourced accordingly.
