Strong Winds & Heavy Rain Forecast for the UK
Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds is expected during Monday evening and into the early hours of Tuesday across many parts of south & southwest England, and west Wales. Although the main rain area and strongest winds will clear away early on Tuesday, further heavy showers are expected through the day.
Wednesday has no reported weather warnings however rapidly strengthening winds and heavy rain are likely to arrive across the west later on Thursday and through Friday, heralding another potentially stormy period with gusts exceeding 70mph in some areas.
