Strong winds will increase during Thursday morning with severe gales developing across many northern and central parts of the UK. Storm force winds are likely to affect parts of the north. The Met Office has advised that the risk of disruption is considered highest across central and southern Scotland. Winds should ease from the West tonight with severe gales confined to NE Scotland by the early hours of Friday.
In addition, heavy rain and hill snow is forecast to accompany the gales.
In response to the adverse winds forecast, we can advise as follows:
- Davies Loss Adjusting
- Davies Inspector Team
- Davies Managed Systems & BVU (Buildings Validation Unit)
- Eastwell (Contractor Management) & Davies Response (Disaster Restoration)
All divisions are aware of the Storm (Wind) alerts for the North / Scotland, have in place the necessary resources to respond immediately to all affected areas and stand in readiness to assist.
In addition, our Out of Hours are aware of the potential increase in OOH calls over the next 24hours and have resourced accordingly.
